Urban Decay Cosmetics: Naked Heat Palette - The Newest Addition to the Naked Palette Family

What's up Gorgeous Readers?

Today, I would like to give my review on the newest yet highly controversial palette of Urban Decay Cosmetics -- The Naked Heat Palette. Unlike the other member of Naked Palette Collection, The Naked Heat comes with more warm-tone colors. If you're someone with colors, this palette would be a neat choice for you! This palette comes with 12 all new colors which lean towards red/orange color of spectrum. Fortunately, there is no repeat from the previous palette.

✨Packaging

The Naked Heat Palette comes with a sturdy plastic packaging and the design is insanely stunning! Inside the palette, it comes with a double-ended brush and a huge mirror. The shade name was placed beneath the eyeshadow.

✨The Shade Names & Performances (Left to Right)

Ounce - A light, golden beige with a hint of soft, pearl shimmer. It has a semi-opaque finish and good as a brow bone highlight color. (Rate: 3.3/5)

Chaser - A light nude with a peachy undertones. The finish is matte which is good as a transition shade. It blended out so nicely in the lid but doesn't sheer out immediately. (Rate: 3/5)

Sauced - A soft terra-cotta matte with a hint of orange undertone. This color is opaque and yet still blended really well on the lid. (Rate: 3.3/5)

Low Blow - A medium classic brown with an orange undertone in it. It performs really well and had an excellent pigmentation. (Rate: 4/5)

Lumbre - A very unique copper shimmer color with gold pearl shift when it hits the light. This color would be a beautiful color to put on the center of the lid. Though, it needs to be packed really well in order to get the maximum color payoff. (Rate: 4/5)

He Devil - A medium-dark reddish-brown matte color. It has an extreme pigmentation but, there is no problem in blending it. (Rate: 3.3/5)

Dirty Talk - A muted, medium-dark coppery brown with warm, orange undertones and a frosted sheen. This color has a (one of the best) metallic finish. The color will pop out even more if you're slowly build the color up. (Rate: 4/5)

Scorched - A deep red metallic with a hint of gold shimmer. Same with the other metallic shade, this color performed really well especially with a slightly damped brush to give its maximum color payoff. (Rate: 4/5)

Cayenne - A deep terra-cotta matte. I would say, this color is the deeper version of Sauced but, its more towards a muted-brown color. This color is buildable yet so easy to blend out! (Rate: 3.5/5)

En Fuego - A muted, medium-dark reddish plum with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had medium, buildable pigmentation with no problem of the blending process. (Rate: 2.8/5)

Ashes - A muted, purpled plum with subtle, warm brown undertones and a matte finish. This is the least favorite color of mine. The consistency was very firm and stiff in the pan, which was what made this shade so difficult to apply and blended evenly. It only was workable when applied over some of the better mattes to add darkness/depth rather than on its own. (Rate: 2/5)

Amber - A deep, almost plummy bronze with an olive undertone paired with a frosted sheen. It was intensely pigmented with a really smooth, creamy texture that was dense and so, so easy to work with. I felt like I barely needed any product on my brush to get enough coverage for my entire lid. A definite FAVORITE! (Rate 4.8/5)

✨Overall Performance

This palette is great if you're someone who likes to wear a warm tones color. It can help you to create a versatile looks just with 1 palette. The quality of the shadows are very impressive. It blend out really easily. The mattes have a rich pigmentation and it goes on like butter! The shimmer shades do come out best with a little bit of stickier base underneath so, the color will pop out even more. There is no significant fallout for the mattes. However, the shimmery shade does a little bit of fallout but it still acceptable considering that it is so concentrated with pigments.

✨Price

$54.00 / IDR 850.000 (Sephora Indonesia)

✨Recommendation?

I would definitely recommend you guys to check out this palette! With its price, you will get such a good quality and versatile product. I would say, this palette is a staple warm tone palette for myself. So, you get my idea, right?
